(EDUC 6165 Communication) THANK YOU!!!!

The last couple of weeks we have been discussing team building and the collaboration process and that is exactly what we have been doing for the past eight weeks!! We came together voluntarily as a group with a shared goal and vision which is to complete another course towards our Master’s degree. Our professor Dr. Darragh who took the leadership role not only supported but valued our ideas, thoughts, and questions. As the leader in our group, Dr. Darragh not only kept us focused but also kept us on track towards our learning. She used her knowledge to not only support and guide us, but to pose questions so we could expand our thinking.  I thank her for that!! Everyone involved in this class became a valued member of the group where we shared our thoughts in the discussion boards and our Blogs. Everyone’s encouragement and positive feedback each week made me feel like a valued member of this team and I thank you for your support!

As we move off into our specialization courses, I look forward to when we can enter the adjourning stage where we might meet at our graduation so we can take the opportunity to congratulate everyone on their successes. Until then, I wish all of you continued success with your courses to come. My specialization courses are taking me down the path to diversity, so I hope that many of you are on the same path!!

I wish you ALL the best and what it is to come!!
Take care,
Stephanie J

That is collaboration very well explained and applied, and that makes me feel accomplished and speaks volume for you as you put the whole process together. Yes, I believe that this was a valuable course and that the professor facilitated us extremely competently, you outlined it perfectly. Yes, this was my first class with you but I felt as if we knew each other. Thanks for your input, encouragement and valuable insights which personally helped me gain deeper understanding where was necessary,I felt that we connected in some way.We have come to the point where we are splitting off in specializations and I will miss the group. I want to wish you all the very best as you continue to be passionate about education and the role you will play to continue on the path in making that needed change. I hope that we meet at the graduation, cute picture by the way.

  2. Stephanie,
Thank you so much for your wonderful analysis of how our group came together and formed a supportive and cohesive collaboration. Your supportive ideas and questions helped me to think beyond our resources in my own "reality." I wish you much luck and hope that we can keep in touch to continue to share and support each other.

  3. Hi Stephanie

I like the way you incorporated our class with our last blog. You brought all that we have learned together in one blog. All I can say is “amazing”. I will miss reading your blogs. You are a great writer. When I read your blogs, I feel like we are sitting next to each other discussing various topics. Your writing comes with ease. I have enjoyed reading your post this semester and past semesters. Good luck to you will be a good educator. I like the pictures you picked.

  4. You were able to take two classes this semester at the same time. I have so much respect for you. It's hard enough with one class. I wish you success in all of your future endeavors.
